Croeso i dosbarth 2

We love reading in Class 2! We have a class book that we share and we use Bookflix to help us to choose our own books.

Have a look at the links below for some brilliant books suitable for years 3/4 pupils.

Each week we have spellings to practise and a reading book that we take home. Our weekly spellings are uploaded to Seesaw on Monday and are checked the following Friday in school. This year our reading has also been recorded on Seesaw.  A photo of the book is uploaded to Seesaw and a comment is included underneath. Sometimes an additional home task is set on Seesaw or Google Classroom so it’s important to login to the Seesaw journal and Google Classroom via Hwb. Instructions on how to access Seesaw can be found in the Covid section of our website and below is instructions on how to access Class 2 Google Classroom.

PE is on Tuesday so please come to school in your PE kit.

In Class 2, we have explored a variety of different topics including Stone Age to Iron Age, Superheroes, Dinosaurs and Beside the Sea. In each of our topics, we plan as a class what we would like to find out about through our big questions. Our class book is often linked to our topic too.

Through the week, we complete missions in the different areas in the class. The missions are linked to our topic or to the work we have previously completed and we use Seesaw to show what we’ve accomplished.

There’s always lots of excitement on a Friday afternoon as we get to find out who is our new talking partner for the coming week.
